Well, it's January and been awhile since I last posted. I've been extremely busy wrapping up my third book to send off to my copy editor. 'Fragments of the Heart' will FINALLY be released at the end of this Spring/early Summer! Since working with my developmental editor this past year, I have been working non-stop in my free time to make several rounds of edits on my manuscript before submitting it to my copy editor. The story is incredible, filled with many layers of story that even I had to take a step back and wonder if I am a glutton for punishment. I am SO excited to finally release this sucker - 252k word count! I will make a few more posts up until the release of the book to keep everyone in the loop.
I know I have mentioned that this past year I have been working a daytime Graphic Design job locally. It's been exciting doing so many designs and seeing them displayed throughout my city. Also, I set up a new workstation in our office downstairs (see neon picture.) It's sort of 80s-90s retro theme with art and video games pics in that era. (Not all of them, but sticking close to it.)
Another recent thing - I cut my bangs! After wanting bangs for several years, I finally just did it a few days ago. It's been a refreshing change for me and I am glad I did it. Not to say that I'll keep my hair like this forever, but I'm having fun with it at the moment. Ponytails are the best with the bangs I must say. Also, during the holidays, I had a hot second to submerse myself in a short video game called 'Gray Matter.' The game plays like a novel, which even is set up with chapters to complete. The story was addicting as all get out, and I loved every moment of it! I actually been wanting to make a separate blog post about this (along with a few other games) and will try and do so since this game is worth a post.
Also, I want to say to all of you who read my blog - I am really sorry that I haven't been more active here these past six months. I have been razor-focused on my manuscript and my life is crazy-busy. I plan to be way more active after I submit my manuscript next month.
